BOOM Esports exits Dota 2 with a bang as they let go of their roster.

BOOM Esports explains Dota 2 exit

Originally known as BOOM ID, the organization was the first to spotlight Indonesian talent on the esports stage. Over time, the team expanded its roster to include standout players from across Southeast Asia, strengthening its presence in the Dota 2 scene.

“Thank you to every player who wore the BOOM jersey with pride. Thank you to the Hungry Beast for standing beside us through every high and every low. This legacy will forever be part of who we are.”

“GGs good runs everyone appreciate [sic] the 2 TIs and achieving one of my original goals when I created an Esports team. Every player were [sic] amazing and I hope I treated you well. Many friends I made in D(ota)2 I’ll still see you guys around, I’m sure. On to the next chapter!”

Before BOOM Esports announced its disbandment, the organization performed poorly in the recent tournaments despite qualifying for The International 2025, where they only reached 14th-15th place.

The last time BOOM Esports competed was in the Southeast Asian qualifiers for BLAST Slam V, where they fielded a promising roster. The team featured Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, one of the region’s top carries, backed by a lineup of seasoned veterans: Sukhbat “sanctity-” Otgondavaa, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro, and Ravdan “NARMAN” Narmandakh.

As of writing, four members of that roster have already found new homes. 23savage, Jabz, Jhocam, and NARMAN all joined the newly rebuilt Team Nemesis, which will compete in the DreamLeague Season 27 main tournament. sanctity- remains a free agent, although he previously played for Natus Vincere.

Although they won’t be participating in Dota 2 competitions anymore, BOOM Esports remains active in other esports games, such as Valorant and PUBG Mobile.
