eFootball 2026 Featured Set Show Time Mikel Oyarzabal pack review

eFootball 2026 is slowly giving some focus on the eFootball Points, and we’ve been getting some new names popping up. A refresh to the eFootball Points Shop with redeemable Featured cards is always great to see, and this time, it’s Mikel Oyarzabal headlining the latest set in eFootball 2026.

Oyarzabal has always been known in-game to be a wonderful utility player and can play in almost all attacking positions. This is a nice Show Time version here, and many would want to check if he’s worth spending, so I did the easy job of checking this card, and here’s my review.

As mentioned earlier, this Featured Set can be redeemed from the eFootball Points Shop for 15,000 eFootball Points, and it also includes 2x 4,000 EXP trainers, which adds some extra value to the deal if you’re already planning to upgrade other players in your squad.

Mikel Oyarzabal

This is one of those Showtime offerings that might not scream crazy overall numbers, but there’s something special about it. Oyarzabal has always been a very clean, nimble player on the ball, and this version keeps that feel.

Tight possession in the 90s, good balance, and sharp turns make him very comfortable in link-up play. What I really like is the utility he brings. You can use him as a CF, SS, LWF, or even LMF if needed. That Deep-Lying Forward playstyle fits perfectly with his profile.

I did adjust his build slightly to encourage more offensive runs since he is still a striker and a good one at that. My build has Offensive Awareness in the 90s with solid finishing, which means he’s not just a support striker; he can still score consistently.

The real selling point is Visionary Pass. Getting that on a striker-type card is huge. You’re basically boosting your chances of scoring because he becomes an assist machine on top of being a goal threat. Pace is decent, not explosive, but this role doesn’t demand that kind of speed.

If you appreciate link-up forwards who make your entire frontline better, this Oyarzabal is genuinely worth a look.

eFootball Points honestly looks like an afterthought for a long while, and I don’t think it will change any time soon. However, when you consider all this, Mikel is such a fantastic offering from KONAMI. I would like to emphasise that stats don’t paint the whole picture.

Plenty of players come and go, and when we are getting any player for free, we just grab them. This guy doesn’t have a glaring weakness apart from heading, which isn’t really needed for his style, and comes with a solid ST skill. So my suggestion is to redeem those points, get this card, and have some fun.
