Select Skill Tokens are the new items used for skill training. KONAMI has abolished Advanced Skill Tokens, replacing them with the new system that lets you acquire a skill of your choice from the available options.
How to use Select Skill Tokens
To use Select Skill Tokens, you need to collect 100 tokens. Once you have enough, head to the Game Plan section and select the player you want to develop and click on Skill Training.
You can then browse the available player skills and choose the one you want to assign. For example, if you want to give a player a specific dribbling skill, you can browse the available options and select the one that suits your playing style.
Select Position Tokens work similarly, but they are used for Position Training instead of Skill Training. These tokens allow you to choose a Position Proficiency for your selected player from the available options.
How to use Select Position Tokens
You need 100 Select Position Tokens to learn a Position Proficiency of your choice. Open Position Training after clicking on a player and choose the position you want to train from the available options.
The position selection screen displays the available positions alongside a pitch diagram showing the relevant areas. Some players cannot be trained in a different or unassigned position, such as a CB very rarely gets CF proficiency, so you can’t train him there.
How to get Select Skill and Position Tokens in eFootball 2027
1. Complete events
Events are the main places to check for Select Skill Tokens and Select Position Tokens. Keep an eye on the rewards listed in the available activities, as the tokens may be offered through different campaigns and event formats.
Both VS AI and PvP events are worth checking. Make sure you review the reward list before playing so you know which activities offer the tokens you need.
2. Progress through the Campaign Hub
The Campaign Hub is another place to look for these training items. Progress through the available campaign objectives and check the rewards at each stage. One such campaign is Playing Style Campaign, which gives 100 each of both the token types.
The exact rewards can vary between campaigns, so check the current objectives rather than assuming that every campaign will provide both types of tokens. If a Select Skill Token or Select Position Token is listed as a reward, make sure to complete them.
