All the Ranked Mode changes coming this April 2026 explained

  • Clash of Clans April 2026 ranked changes brings Legend League split into three tiers.
  • A new feature in Migration Week determines your starting tier in the Legend league.
  • Reduced grind and relaxed inactivity rules make Ranked more flexible and less punishing.

Supercell’s Clash of Clans is preparing another significant Ranked Mode overhaul this April 2026, continuing the adjustments that began earlier this year. After addressing and then introducing changes in January to fix progression issues and player burnout, more changes are coming now.

Clash of Clans Ranked Mode updates for April 2026

Changes to Legend League

So the major change to start things off will be the Legend League itself. Instead of one single tier, you now have three: Legend I, Legend II, and Legend III. You still get the same star and league bonus rewards no matter which tier you’re in, so you’re not missing out on extra loot.

But why this change has arrived is because of the competition a single Legend league offered. With this, the difficulty level is split between the three tiers, including the structure and battle modifiers as well, so you will have your matchmaking and climb based on your skill level.

Tier Tournament Type Battles Limit Promotion / Demotion Modifiers
Legend I 4-week format 8 battles per day If you drop below Rank 10,000, you demote Legend I Modifiers
Legend II Weekly 30 battles per week Top 3 in your group move up Legend II Modifiers
Legend III Weekly 24 battles per week Top 5 in your group move up Legend III Modifiers

Migration Week

Starting April 20, 2026, there’s a one-time placement phase called Migration Week. Basically, how you perform during this window decides where you land when the new system goes live.

Your Rank Range Where You Start
Top 12,500 Legend I
Next 50,000 Legend II
Everyone else Legend III
If you get demoted Electro 33

This part actually matters a lot. If you do well here, you skip a lot of climbing later. If not, you’ll just have to work your way up from a lower tier. Pretty straightforward this.

More manageable Ranked experience

Outside of Legend League, the overall Ranked experience is getting easier to deal with. One of the first things you’ll notice is that you don’t need to play as many battles in higher leagues like Titan 25 up to Electro 33 anymore.

The inactivity system is also much more forgiving now. Earlier, even a short break could push you down quickly, but that’s no longer the case. You can now stay inactive for up to four weeks without getting demoted at all.

After that, if you still don’t return, you’ll only drop one rank every four weeks, which is a lot slower and less punishing. If you reach your Town Hall floor and stay inactive for another four weeks, that’s when you finally become unranked.

Another small but important change is how demotions are shown to you. Instead of vague warnings, you’ll now see a proper timer that tells you exactly when a demotion will happen. Along with that, the game does a better job of showing your current standing, and when you’re at risk, so there’s less confusion and no surprise drops.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
