Review, Best Progression Builds, and Skills

I know this might not be the pack many of you are excited about, especially when attacking cards usually grab all the attention. But the new Show Time: Trusted Shields pack in eFootball 2027 caught my eye, and I think it did yours too.

The pack features Micky van de Ven, Thibaut Courtois, and Wesley, covering three very different roles at the back. The interesting aspect about these three is how consistent their names have been when discussing their featured cards, and now, they are upgraded with Show Time skills.

So, even though you decide not to spend your coins, I’ll discuss the three Show Time cards, their strengths and weaknesses, and the progression builds that might help your case for going for these.

Micky van de Ven

  • Position: CB
  • Attacking Playing Style: Extra Frontman
  • Defensive Playing Style: The Destroyer
  • Show Time Skills: Fortress, Aerial Fort and Shadow Hunt

I have always liked Van de Ven cards, mainly because having a fast CB makes such a difference when you are defending with a high line. This one is rapid right out of the box, and the defensive numbers are there too. You get the recovery pace without having to sacrifice the defending side of his game, and isn’t this what we always look for?

Shadow Hunt and Aerial Fort are a really good combination for him. The only thing I wish KONAMI had done differently is give him Long-reach Tackle or Power Tackle. They have played it a little safe with the skill set, but I am not complaining too much because the card is already looking strong.

Also, getting Extra Frontman on an Epic/Show Time card is a nice change after a long time. He still has The Destroyer as his defensive style, so you have options depending on where you use him. I wouldn’t call him an automatic endgame CB, but he is definitely a top-tier option and a fun card to build around.

Thibaut Courtois

  • Position: GK
  • Defensive Playing Style: Defensive Goalkeeper
  • Show Time Skills: GK Directing Defence

You know how much of a wall Courtois can be when you come up against him in PvP. This card looks like another one of those keepers who can make you question how you didn’t score from a chance that should have been a goal. The frame is a massive part of that, and the build pushes his goalkeeping abilities to a very high level.

The numbers are strong across the main goalkeeping areas, so there isn’t much to complain about here. He is a Defensive Goalkeeper, which suits you if you are a Long Ball Counter or Long Ball tactic user. If you are looking for a top-level keeper and don’t already have someone you trust, Courtois should be a pretty straightforward pick.

Wesley

  • Position: LB
  • Attacking Playing Style: Attacking Full-back
  • Defensive Playing Style: Covering Role
  • Show Time Skills: Edged Crossing and Acceleration Burst

Wesley is a well-rounded card; I will give him that. Finishing and the aerial side aren’t really where you want to use him, but almost everything else looks good. He has the pace to get up and down the flank, can defend properly, and the dribbling looks nice too. The passing is also a strong part of the card, which makes sense with the crossing skills he has.

Edged Crossing and Acceleration Burst are a good pair here. He can make those overlapping runs and deliver the ball. The defensive skills are decent as well, so you aren’t just getting an attacking full-back who leaves you exposed every time possession changes.

Personally, I would like to try him at LMF as well. That way, you can make better use of his attacking qualities without asking him to do quite as much defensive work. At LB, he is still a solid all-round option, but I think there is more to get out of him if you push him further up the pitch.

Suggested Skills: Blocker, Sliding Tackle, Acrobatic Clearance, Low Lofted Pass, Aerial Superiority

Suggested Booster: Lofted Pass +6

Suggested Progression Points Allocation for Wesley

Shooting Passing Dribbling Dexterity Lower Body Strength Aerial Strength Defending GK 1/2/3

The only downside here is the form. Otherwise, these three are really good offerings. But I’d be lying if I say this is a must go. We should wait for better packs.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
