Jurassic World Rebirth Official Trailer 2: A New Dinosaur Era

The “worst of the worst” were left here as Universal Pictures releases the new official trailer for their upcoming dinosaur sequel film Jurassic World Rebirth. View trailer below.

Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, Earth’s environment has largely proven inhospitable to dinosaurs. The surviving creatures now reside in remote, tropical locales, reminiscent of the environments where they once flourished. Zora Bennett, a covert operative, is recruited by a pharmaceutical company to collaborate with paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis and team leader Duncan Kincaid on a top-secret mission.  The team’s objective is to infiltrate a forbidden island in the Atlantic Ocean—once the site of the original research facility for Jurassic Park—and locate the three largest remaining prehistoric species from land, sea, and air. The biomaterials of these creatures holds the key to a revolutionary drug capable of saving countless human lives. Along the way, the team encounters a civilian family, and both groups find themselves stranded. They discover that the island is home to mutated, failed dinosaur experiments that have thrived in isolation for decades. Among them is one of the main antagonists of the film – Distortus rex, a deformed, alien-like, Tyrannosaurus rex with six limbs.

Oh wow….a new trailer. I was curious to see if a new one was going to drop before the movie came out. This new preview showcases plenty of new footage from the upcoming film, including more details about the plot and the dangers that await them. My only problem that I might have with this movie is the fact it is the same problem that was faced with the last three Jurassic World movies, which saw a new genetic engineer breeding of yet another bigger and badder apex dinosaur hybrid. It is a bit redundant….if you know what I mean. Still, Rebirth does look better than Dominion and I am interested to see how this new movie will shape up to be.
