List, discussion, and potential ratings

Isn’t it exciting when you suddenly see a legend pop up in an eFootball rumour and think, “Wait, is he actually coming to the game?” We’ve all had that moment, especially when it’s a player we’ve been hoping to see added for ages. A few have appeared, while a few still remain a dream.

I’m particularly excited about a lot of them, and I usually do my fair share of digging online to see whether a particular player is coming. I keep a few in mind, but at one point, you can’t remember them all. So, I thought, why not put them all together in one place?

There are already several familiar names being linked with the game. Some have popped up through reports suggesting that negotiations could be underway, while others have been pure speculation. So here are all the legends currently rumoured to be coming to eFootball 2027 and what we know about each one so far.

The cards mentioned in this list are based on rumours only. This does not include players who have already been spotted in the game’s database but haven’t been released yet. If you’re looking for those cards, you can check out my upcoming Epic and Big Time list, which I keep updating from time to time.

Also, all the information below is based on speculation and should not be taken as official confirmation. If a player is officially announced by KONAMI or is added to the game’s database, they will be removed from this list. So, consider this more of a running list of names that could potentially make their way into eFootball.

Rumoured Player Nationality Expected Card Type Expected Position Potential Rating
Mario Kempes Argentina Epic CF/SS 108-109
Claudio Marchisio Italy Epic CMF 106
Michael Ballack Germany Epic CMF 108
Cesc Fàbregas Spain Epic CMF 106
John Terry England Epic CB 106
Sergio Ramos Spain Epic CB/RB 107
Robin van Persie Netherlands Epic CF 107
Ronaldo Nazário Brazil Epic/Big Time CF 109-112*
Thierry Henry France Epic/Big Time LWF 109
Alan Shearer England Epic CF 107
Michael Laudrup Denmark Epic AMF/SS 107
Fernando Hierro Spain Epic CB 107

Two of the latest names to emerge are Mario Kempes and Claudio Marchisio. According to reports from ZahafcPes on X, who has been reliable in the past, KONAMI has begun official talks with both players. The 1978 FIFA World Cup version is what I expect of Kempes, thus the higher rating.

Michael Ballack is another name gaining traction, with claims that the former Germany international is being added to eFootball as a new legend. Epic card is definitely what they’ll go with here, but he’s going to be a tall, bulky CMF, and I won’t be surprised if he ends up in the meta.

John Terry, Sergio Ramos, Robin van Persie, and Cesc Fàbregas are the ones who are in the talks, since they have been mentioned in a very recent eFootball event in Turkey. I’m expecting these to be the first ones to be released from the list.

Then there is the name that has arguably generated the most speculation: Ronaldo Nazário, and for good reason. He was featured in the Inter Milan stadium cutscene, which was added this year.

The situation becomes even more interesting because rumours have recently pointed towards a future 112-rated Big Time player. There is no confirmation that this player is Ronaldo, but his name is naturally being discussed heavily in connection with the rumour.

A report highlighted that when Cahill was released, he would be added to the game with his official PFA licence, and, going by that, the award has previously been associated with several major English footballers, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer.

Note that these names, alongside the rest from the list, were part of the commentary database that listed several legends that were eventually released, including the likes of Pelé, Zola, and Puskas.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
